Genetically based aging causes biochemical changes in collagen and elastin, the building blocks of tissue in the skin's dermal layer that provide firmness and elasticity. The resurfacer ingredients used in our treatments is glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid. Glycolic acid is the most frequently used AHA in our treatments. It normalizes keratinization, smoothes the skin, prevents clogging of follicle surface openings, stimulates epidermal cell renewall, stimulates moisturization, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, reduces photo damage and stimulates collagen and elastin development in the dermis.

- Clients using Accutane, Retin-A, or antibiotics should NOT receive AHA treatments.
- If you are allergic to Aspirin please advise. Lactic Acid treatments are available.
- AHA/BHA resurfacers should not be used on areas that have been WAXED or shaved in the previous 48 hours, or on skin that has wounds or irritations, skin diseases, or sunburn.
- No resurfacing or acid chemical peels on pregnant or lactating clients, or those with uncontrolled diabetes.
- If you have COUPEROSE or ROSEACEA please advice on phone consultation.
- If you have recently had plastic surgery you need to bring in a consent form from your physician.
- Post treatment you must stay out of the sun 24-72 hours.
- No waxing or using medications and retinoids for up to 7 days post treatment.
- No working out, smoking, drinking, hot baths/showers 24-72 hours post treatment.
- Do not wash your face until the following morning when using our HOME-CARE-SYSTEM post treatment
